Emma Wonders TM Privacy Policy

Overview

By accessing or using this website, services, or content, you agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy. There is absolutely no user-to-user contact so parents can be assured that their children's use of Emma Wonders™ website will be safe, and no other people can contact the users. Emma Wonders™ is designed for children aged 7-12 and is intended meant to fill a vital gap in children's literature by merging relatable storytelling with actionable executive function tools and growth-mindset psychology. We are completely dedicated to protecting the privacy of your family. Our website is a safe, creative launchpad designed to encourage kids to explore their imagination through books, journaling, and physical crafts. By exploring the website, reading our stories, using our creative printables and engaging in our content in any form, the child and their legal guardian(s) (or "Grown-Up Co-Pilot" as called on the website and herein these terms) agree to this privacy policy.

Information We Collect From Adults & Children

We only collect personal information when a grown-up explicitly provides it to us. If an adult purchases a backpack, mug, or book via our shop links (powered securely by our e-commerce partners), the billing name, shipping address, and payment information are collected strictly to process and ship your order. If a parent or educator emails us a question, we only use that email address to write back to you. No other information or data is stored. No information is stored from the children other than their first name.

Cookies & Analytics

We use basic analytical cookies solely to see which of Emma's activities are the most popular (like if kids love downloading the planners or painting the mandalas!), helping us design even better crafts for your family. This data is entirely aggregated and anonymous. No other data is collected and no data is sold. By using this website, you agree to receive communications electronically and agree that all agreements, notices, and disclosures provided electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.

Data Collection & Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA)

We are committed to protecting the privacy of children in accordance with federal laws. This website and any related services are intended for use by parents, educators, and caregivers, and are not directed to children over the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect, use, or disclose personal information from children under 13, in accordance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13 without appropriate consent, we will promptly delete such information. Parents or guardians who believe that their child has provided personal information without their consent may contact us to request review or deletion of that information.

Other States besides California and International Use

We comply with applicable U.S. state and territory privacy laws and provide additional protections for personal information relating to minors where required. For users based in VA, CO, CT, UT and other states that require opt-out options, data minimization and purpose limitation, our website offers these capabilities via specific request.

For users located outside the United States, including in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, we process children's personal data only where permitted by applicable law and, where required, with parental or guardian consent, and in accordance with principles of data minimization and transparency. For more on international compliance, please contact us directly.

Third-Party Links & Shops

Our website provides direct links to official stores where you can purchase our books and custom merchandise. These external platforms have their own secure checkout procedures and terms of service which apply the moment you step over to their pages to complete a purchase. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or policies of those third parties.
